MAXIMUM AESTHETICS AND LIVING COMFORT
Why did the Hesselschwerdt family decide on a timber house from AKB Holzbau in Stutensee in combination with plastic windows from Gaulhofer? "Design was the most important aspect for us and so looks dominate every decision that was made throughout the house." The timber building’s architecture was also "set in stone" from the very beginning. After all: "We spend a lot of time in Austria and we’ve always been fascinated by the style of the typical Tyrolean log house – and we aimed to implement a modern version of one.”
CHOOSING WINDOWS WAS EASY
Why did the family decide on Gaulhofer windows? “The overall package consisting of sustainability, price and sun protection was really convincing. We aimed at complementing the architectural concept by using modern, anthracite-coloured Gaulhofer windows. The fact that Gaulhofer is an Austrian company perfectly rounded off our home construction project!”
ON A MISSION FOR PREMIUM WINDOWS AND DOORS
The windows installed in the Hesselschwerdt family's home were Gaulhofer ENERGYLINE 85 plastic windows with anthracite sand structure and the KARO roller shutters. The high-quality aluminium front door is called AGE 1030, and the matt RAL colour 7016 as well as "Satinato white" glazing were used.
