Hand-smoothed wet sealing with Gaulhofer's UV-resistant silicone keeps the glass joint 100% tight and does away with draughts for good. Gaulhofer Audiostop® technology featuring three circumferential seals offers protection not only from noise, but also from wind and driving rain. Special seals additionally prevent condensation forming at the glass rebate, so keeping the glass joint dry and the sash timber looking attractive (Gaulhofer Dampfstop®).
Gaulhofer has manufactured windows from timber for 100 years, simultaneously applying the highest possible quality standards to production. The company only uses larch or spruce from Austrian forests which was felled during the winter months. Local sawmills then deliver this precious raw material to Gaulhofer, where the gentle drying process is monitored by experienced staff. This ensures that only high-quality timber undergoes further processing for admission to the closely controlled manufacturing chain for Gaulhofer wooden windows.
